I’m alive! (ArtOrder Dungeon Delve entry)

It might seem like I dropped off the face of the earth or at least that I haven’t been doing any art lately. Quite the contrary, in fact. I’ve been doing tons. So much that i’ve not had time to do much updating here. Sorry. I’ll try to make up for that in the days ahead by posting some of what I’ve been producing starting with this piece done for an ArtOrder competition. We were asked to create an image of an adventurer, lost and injured behind enemy lines with little hope of ever seeing the light of day again. Here you can see my pencil work-up as well as the final painting. The last tweaks were done while the D&D cartoon played in the background because nothing says lost without hope to me like a bunch of kids and a baby unicorn trying to get home episode after episode and failing every time.
